Triclima has aimed to design, prototype and build architectural structures for energy production and for the microclimatic control. Its purpose was to bring architectural innovation in the field of sustainable design and renewable energy, combining the experimentation of innovative materials with both craftsmanship and numerical control self-construction and processing techniques. The project has been developed through an initial phase of research and experimentation, then with the setting up of a laboratory, the creation of prototypes of innovative structures and the construction of a modular and mobile pavilion. Thanks to the research and study carried out with Triclima 0.1 and 0.2, has been possible to create a pavilion measuring 9.1×2.5×3 metres, with a skeleton in fiberglass pipes, on which photovoltaic modules, consisting of strip flexible panels , have been mounted and perfectly adapted to the sinuous shape of the supports.
